MBA@Rice Enrollment Checklist 

Use this checklist to stay on track as you complete your enrollment requirements and prepare for onboarding.

  • Accept Your Offer
    Submit your Intent to Enroll form (sent to you via email).
  • Submit Your Enrollment Deposit
    Secure your seat in the program.
  • Apply for Financial Aid
    If you plan to use federal aid or other funding options, begin your financial aid application early. The Jones Graduate School of Business (JGSB) Student Financial Services team is available to assist you throughout the process.
  • Submit Final Official Transcripts
    If you submitted unofficial transcripts for your admission review, you must submit final official transcripts to avoid a registration hold
    • Send your official transcripts electronically through your prior institution’s transcript service or registrar, using a password-protected vendor, to appservices@onlinebusiness.rice.edu
    • Or send official transcripts by mail in a sealed envelope from a university official to:

  • Provide Official Test Scores (if required)
     If you submitted unofficial GMAT, GRE, or Executive Assessment scores, please order official score reports now to avoid a registration hold.

    • Executive Assessment code: “Rice University Jones Graduate School of Business”

New Student Onboarding

Once you have completed your Intent to Enroll form and paid your deposit, you will begin working with your dedicated Student Success Advisor (SSA) who will help ensure a smooth transition into the program. 

Together, you will:

  • Schedule your Welcome Call
  • Review key dates and onboarding timelines
  • Confirm all required documents are submitted
  • Activate your Rice email and online accounts
  • Access the MBA@Rice Tech Orientation Course in Digital Campus
  • Prepare for course registration
  • Review student resources, academic support, and program expectations

Your SSA will remain your primary point of contact throughout your MBA journey, helping you feel prepared, supported and confident as you begin the program.
