EXECUTIVE ASSESSMENT

Save Time and Show Your Readiness

You have years of hard-won knowledge and real-world experience behind you. Now, you have goals to advance your career with MBA@Rice. We’re here to help you achieve them.

If you were denied a GMAT/GRE waiver or are still debating which test to take, we strongly encourage the Executive Assessment when applying for our program.

The Executive Assessment is for applicants who have the kind of experience that other standardized tests like the GMAT or GRE can’t calculate. Plus, it takes less time to complete and helps measure your business school readiness.

For prospects who are looking for an alternative to the GMAT/GRE, or even if you were denied a waiver, the Executive Assessment is a great choice. The EA is a great measure of the quantitative and qualitative analytical skills we’re looking for in our students, and the test gives prospects a very good sense of how prepared they are for our program.”

How to Prepare

The Executive Assessment was designed with the life of a busy professional in mind.

The assessment will evaluate the skills you already use in your day-to-day work, with an emphasis on integrated, verbal and quantitative reasoning. We suggest exploring the practice assessment questions to review these key competencies enough to feel comfortable responding to each question in a timed environment. Practice assessments are also readily available online to help with preparation.

After you complete the test, you will receive valuable insight into your academic strengths and potential areas for development. This personalized feedback allows you to sharpen your skills before classes begin, ensuring a firm foundation for your MBA education.
