What to do Immediately

  • Accept your offer of admission by signing and completing your Intent to Enroll document (you will receive this via email).
  • Pay your enrollment deposit.

Before You Begin Classes

You will need to complete the following tasks before you begin classes. Select each task to view instructions.

  1. Schedule Welcome Call: Your student success adviser will be reaching out to welcome you to the program and discuss your immediate next steps to prepare you for the start of classes.
  2. Activate Your University Accounts: You must activate your Rice email, ESTHER and Digital Campus accounts. These accounts are required for registration, important program communications and course access.
  3. Apply for Financial Aid: If you plan to utilize financial aid it’s important that you complete your financial aid paperwork and connect with the JGSB Student Financial Services office as soon as possible.
  4. Submit ALL Final Official Transcripts: If you used unofficial transcripts during the application process, you must submit your official transcripts as soon as as possible. A registration hold could be placed on your account if you are missing any official transcripts, which would prevent you from registering for classes.
  5. Provide Official Standardized Test Scores: If you were required to submit GMAT, GRE or Executive Assessment scores during the application process, we must have official score reports on file to avoid a registration hold. If you provided unofficial test scores for admissions review, please order your official scores at this time.
  6. Register for Classes: Follow these instructions to complete your registration.
  7. Complete Courses in Digital Campus: Complete the Rice Business Orientation Course and the Virtual Career Course before the start of classes.
  8. Attend the Rice Business Launch Live Orientation Session: Your Student Success team will be in touch with date, time and additional information.
  9. Prepare for Your First Week of Live Classes: Read through course syllabi, order textbooks and complete all Week 1 asynchronous coursework prior to your first week of classes.
