Christopher Burke
Lecturer in Management – Operations Management
Dr. Christopher Burke is a lecturer at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business where he teaches MBA courses in Operations Management. Dr. Burke is also a Senior Program Manager leading professional services in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) directing on-site support of IT infrastructure, operations, and various initiatives on behalf of VA and other government agencies. Chris also worked at Dell Technologies in global inventory optimization. He served as a Program Manager, leading global, cross-functional core teams as a certified Project Management Professional to aid business acquisition and transformation activities. Chris led the Global Operations Secure Supply Chain, ensuring alignment with government regulations for conducting business with federal agencies. Prior to Dell Technologies, Chris served 27 years in the U. S. Air Force assigned to various logistics, maintenance, acquisition, and procurement career fields.
