Also, while at Whirlpool Corporation, Jon led the company’s super premium major appliance business, JennAir, as the CMO, head of brand, product and merchandising through a multi-year, over $100 million repositioning from low-end luxury to high-end luxury. Prior to leading JennAir Business Unit, Jon was the head of marketing for Whirlpool Brand, where he led the repositioning effort that launched a near decade long creative platform called Everyday, care™ that has won multiple North American Effies and Cannes Lions, including a Grand Prix Cannes Lion for Care Counts™ Campaign.

In Jon’s early career years, he was an officer in the U.S. Army where he led soldiers in direct combat operations for two years in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. In his final six months in Iraq, he became a non-lethal officer where he was given the mission to connect with the local civilians in a town of 20,000 people on accessing the local Iraqi police and Army forces. This is the precise moment that his love for marketing became a reality.
