Laura Steil Roehl is a Lecturer in Marketing with a focus on Pricing Strategies for MBA@Rice. Laura has extensive experience in pricing, most recently as Vice President of Pricing for Roundy’s Supermarkets. She was responsible for the strategy and execution of pricing for over 150 stores with nearly $4B in annual revenue. Prior to working in the retail industry, Laura worked in publishing with a focus on forecasting. Her passion for pricing comes from the combination of rigorous analytics with psychology and strategy. She enjoys teaching sound fundamentals while incorporating real world business experience.
Laura also works as a consultant with a focus on Pricing and Consumer Behavior. She graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in Economics and Design and earned her MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
